Loads of Manchester United fans on Twitter have made it clear who they want to see appointed as Director of Football at Old Trafford, calling for Paul Mitchell.
Sky Sports reported on Friday that the former Tottenham Hotspur employee is being eyed up by the Red Devils to fill the role.
However, they will face competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea to land his signature – Mitchell currently working in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig.
The 38-year-old is just the latest of many names linked to the position that needs filling in Manchester by various different outfits in the last couple of months.
However, supporters seem to want to see Mitchell working alongside Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that bit more – after all, he is a Mancunian himself.
They took to Twitter in the wake of the rumours with comments such as “the best man for the job,” “dream signing” and “the perfect fit” as well as one that stated his appointment would mean finally seeing some progression from United.
